Non-members can also sign up for an account as this is required for some functions when it is valuable to have a verified return email address. Examples are submissions of news and calendar items, as well as abstract submissions for the society meetings. Email addresses or other presonal information will not be sold or otherwise transferred to a party outside of the Society. The society does occasionally make mailing labels available for third parties when the intended material is considered to be of general interest for the membership. The board of directors may send emails with society relevance to the member base with the understanding that this priviledge will not be abused or overused. As a member, you may opt out of this type of society mailing by send a message to the web editor that you wish to be excluded from this type of messages. As a web account holder, you agree not to share your password or the information contained in the members-only pages.
